eat Dinner
Keep dinner simple and on the ‘lite’ side. Grilled or broiled meat or fish with some vegetables and brown rice is very satisfying and full of nutrition. Dinner is usually the last meal of the day so there is little time left to burn off dinner calories unless you’re ‘plowing the north forty’. While it is important to satisfy your hunger to get a good night sleep, foods that are high in fat and calories are simply stored as fat. And besides, breakfast is right around the corner which is another important meal. If you’re Vegan, grilled or sautéed vegetables with some cashews or roasted peanuts can be very filling and nutritious.
For desert or something sweet, try frozen grapes, or fresh organic berries. Processed foods high in empty calories and added, refined sugar late in the evening can cause inflammation in the body while giving you the energy you don’t need, keeping you from winding down naturally and giving your body the sleep it needs.
